I am getting married in September. I rarely wear make up and I also have Rosacea. And my dress is ice blue and not white. I am trying to get used to wearing makeup from now till then. Can you give me any ideas as colours for lipstick and eye shadow please?

I had to head to my friend Annesley Broadhead, CARGO</b>'s National Make-up Artist, for this wedding day makeup question. Here's what she had to say! Wow what a pretty twist on a traditional white dress. Begin your make-up by using a lightweight, sheer foundation with a neutral or soft yellow undertone. This will balance out the redness caused by the Rosacea and allow you the freedom to wear more shade options. I would suggest that you keep your eye make-up fairly neutral and choose eye shadow shades of pewter, taupe, cream and deep mauve or deep chocolate brown as an accent colour. Opt for black liner applied along the top lash line only, giving a lift to your eyes. Finish your eyes with black mascara. Even though you do have a natural rosiness in your cheeks I would suggest that you use a blush with a rosy beige tone. CARGO&#8217;s Blush in Tonga is perfect. It will work well with your complexion and also coordinate nicely with your dress. For lips stick to pretty rose-beige shades without a lot of heavy shimmer. They will appear natural in your picture, yet still look romantic. CARGO&#8217;s PlantLove™ Lipsticks in Sagarmatha and Yellowstone are perfect bridal shades. You can also purchase CARGO cosmetics at Sephora locations.
