I have always wore glasses for my entire life because I have an eye condition which does not permit me to wear any contact lenses. How can I look good with my glasses on while wearing makeup on my face and eyes?

There are so many stylish frames out there for glasses these days. But, that doesn't mean we want to shy away from making our gorgeous peepers stand out! I went straight to my makeup friend, Annesley Broadhead, CARGO</b>'s National Make-up Artist, to get the scoop on what eye makeup to wear with glasses. Here's what she had to say! We are usually told to wear more eye make-up if we wear glasses so the eyes don’t disappear, but using too much eye make-up and bright or sparkling shades can actually look a bit overdone. It can also clash with many of today’s fun modern frames. I suggest that you stick to a classic look and use soft neutral shadow shades like cream, beige, taupe, chocolate or gray. Line your eyes by pressing a dark powder or cream eyeliner right into the base of the upper lash line with an angled brush. This trick will add definition without the appearance of heavy eyeliner. CARGO&#8217;s SmokyEye™ Eyeliner Duo pairs a cream and powder liner making it perfect for achieving this technique. Curl lashes and apply a natural finish mascara like CARGO SupersEyes™ Mascara in black or brown. Wipe the wand with a tissue prior to application to avoid clumping. Eyebrows should be kept well groomed and if needed you can add a little brow powder for definition. Keep you blush soft and apply it to the upper apples of the cheeks for a lifted look. Lips can be played up with rich or daring colors since eyes are soft. You can also purchase CARGO cosmetics at Sephora locations.
