I have brown hair and eyes and a fair complexion. I am 35 and do not usually wear makeup, but would like to use mascara and lipstick or gloss. What colours would look best on me?

When it comes to makeup, picking the right colours isn't easy with all the choices out there. But Melissa Gibson, makeup artists for M.A.C cosmetics, has some tips!

The best thing about brown hair and eyes is that you pretty much have the ability to wear any colour that you like! If you're not a big makeup wearer however, I would suggest sticking to beige brown and plum tones. Concentrate on flawless skin, add loads of black mascara, a soft pink/beige blush and top with a neutral plum lip gloss. Perfectly polished without looking over done!
