Miss Blush
Answer
Miss Blush
I have very sensitive skin - it often reacts to makeup and foods I eat. I'm looking for a recommendation on a skin care routine I can adopt to lay the foundation taking the best care of my skin that I can... Any suggestions?
We all want to take care of our skin the best we can, but for many women, sensitive skin is a factor. For tips for this ELLE Canada reader, I went to Dr. Paul Cohen, dermatologist in Toronto. He says:
"There are many products available on the market that claim they are for sensitive skin. They may contain fewer common irritants that are found in regular cleansers, but many of my patients still experience excessive redness or burning after application. I often recommend the Cetaphil brand of cleansers and moisturizers to patients with sensitive skin. Cetaphil was developed for people with extremely sensitive skin, rosacea and eczema. The cleansers are mild and remove makeup without causing excess dryness. The moisturizers and the sunscreen are among the favorites of my patients."
