It seems that when I put on foundation I look like I have more wrinkles with it then without it, am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to use foundation that will hide wrinkles rather then enhance them?

To answer this question, I turned to the foundation expert, my friend Annesley Broadhead, CARGO</b>'s National Make-up Artist. Here's what she had to say! You are not alone in this dilemma. Sometimes using foundation can emphasize dryness and lines making you look older, defeating the purpose of foundation in the first place. Not fair! I like to go by the age-old rule that less is more. Instead of over using in attempt to attain perfection, use a light touch allowing for some of your natural skin to shine through. Only apply foundation to the areas that require coverage instead of all over. Opt for sheer formulations like CARGO&#8217;s silky, hydrating and oil free Liquid Foundation. Avoid the use of too much foundation around the eyes and instead add brightness by applying concealer to the inner corners and the eyelids. Another great trick is to mix a touch of your facial moisturizer or sunscreen into the foundation just prior to application, creating a personalized tinted moisturizer. Use just a touch of powder to set the foundation but only apply it to the T-Zone so that fine lines and dryness are not emphasized. You can also purchase CARGO cosmetics at Sephora locations.
