The former N-Dubz singer previewed the dance-pop track - her first since leaving the band - and accompanying video, which sees her and a group of friends in Miami, Florida, with a group of friends.
In the chorus, she sings: ''Forgive us for what we have done. Because we are young.
''I make mistakes that I learn from, because I'm young.''
The song was produced by Tulisa's ex-bandmate and ex-boyfriend, Fazer, along with Pete Ibsen, who work together under the name STL.
'Young' and its lyrics have an added poignancy as this week a sex tape of Tulisa another ex-boyfriend was leaked on the internet.
In a video response to the tape, Tulisa said: ''As you can imagine, I'm devastated, heartbroken and I've been in bits for the past few days.
''When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love, that you care about and you trust, you never imagine for one minute that that the footage may at one point be shared with the rest of the UK.''
'Young' is the first single from Tulisa's debut album, which will be released later this year and sees her work with some of the world's top producers, including The-Dream, Rico Love and Diane Warren.
