Tulisa’s debut single ‘Young’, is ”a really big dance record.”
The singer is set to release her first solo track in May through her ex-boyfriend and N-Dubz bandmate Fazer’s new production company STL Music, and he promises it will be a huge anthem.
He told MTV news: ”It’s a really big dance record with a great message behind it: ‘Forgive us for what we have done, because we are young. ‘That’s it. Simple!”
Tulisa recently went to the US to record her debut album in Los Angeles and Miami, and is rumoured to have worked with Jean Baptiste Kouame – who has made tracks with Black Eyed Peas, Cheryl Cole and Madonna.
A source said: ”Jean is behind some of the biggest hits of the past decade. Tulisa worked with him a couple of years ago when she was in Los Angeles working on N-Dubz’s third album.
”They hit it off immediately and have kept in touch ever since. This girl is going places.”
Fazer had originally been heavily involved with the album, took a step back after he and Tulisa split, although he is still thought to be one of the producers behind ‘Young’.
Dappy – the third member of N-Dubz, who are currently on hiatus – has already launched his own solo career, releasing two single, ‘No Regrets’, and ‘Rockstar’ which reached number one and two in the UK singles charts respectively.
