The real reason Adele isn't singing at the Super Bowl

If you're looking for us, we'll be in our rooms listening to 25 on repeat and holding our pillows and sobbing.

Adele revealed at a concert this weekend that she turned down an offer to sing at the Super Bowl half-time show in part because she "can't dance."

"First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl," Adele said on stage in L.A. "I mean, that show is not about music. I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no."

Here's where the plot thickens. The NFL and Pepsi (who is a show sponsor), released a statement to Billboard after. "The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time."

Everyone, we've come up with a solution to the problem: Adele and Beyoncé team up for the half-time show. They have a few months to plan this; the Super Bowl takes place in February 2017.
