Stevie Wonder appears on Pixie Lott’s second album.

The soul legend plays harmonica on a track featured on the ‘Cry Me Out’ singer’s second album, which she has recently completed in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old star also worked with pianist and singer John Legend on another track, after meeting him through a mutual friend.

She explained to the UK’s Radio 1: “I’m a massive fan of John Legend so I was really, really excited and happy about that.

“I’ve been such a massive fan of Stevie Wonder for so many years, it’s crazy to actually see him in the flesh.

“I met his family and his wife, I spoke to him for a while and he’s such a legend.”

Pixie also said told how she has grown more confident with writing tracks for the follow up to her 2009 debut ‘Turn It Up’, and is not afraid to draw from her own life for her songs.

She added: “I’m not afraid to use my personal experiences and put them into a song. I think that’s when you get the best stuff anyway, when it’s real emotion.”

Describing the album’s sound, she called it a “feel good throwback record”.
