Paul Weller has announced his return with new album ‘Sonik Kicks’.

The ‘Peacock Suit’ singer will celebrate the release of his 11th solo album – which features guest appearances from Noel Gallagher and former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon – with two special concerts in London.

Paul will unveil the album by playing it in its entirety on two separate nights at The Roundhouse in London on March 18 and 19 next year, a week ahead of its release on March 26.

Speaking about the record previously, Paul revealed he was determined to “stretch himself” lyrically.

He said: “It seems to be taking its own character this time. Sonically it’s still pushing things, but still with good melodies, and lyrically I’m trying to stretch myself. I’ve tried to make the words more impressionistic, tried to write in different ways.

“As much as I’m going to change the music, I want to be able to change the way I write words as well.”

Paul has also claimed he’s still learning and developing his tastes in music, despite being 53 years old.

He explained: “I’ll never learn everything I need to know, probably. All the time I’m learning new things still, and I don’t think that’s a process that stops, as long as you don’t want it to stop.

“I still get excited about finding new things, new music.”

Tickets for the shows at the Roundhouse will go on sale on Friday (25.11.11).
