Katy B performed a medley of classic 90s dance tracks during her show at London’s Roundhouse last night (19.07.11).

The ‘Broken Record’ singer delighted the packed-out Camden venue 30 minutes into her set when she promised fans “something special”.

She said: “Right Camden, I’m going to do something special for all of you tonight. A little treat for you. This is for all of you ravers out there.

“All of you guys and girls who were raving through the 90s. I’ve been rehearsing this for ages so I hope you like it.”

She then went on to perform the medley, which included Robin S’s ‘You Got to Show Me Love’ and En Vogue’s ‘Back To Life’.

Katy’s two-hour set featured her singles ‘Broken Record’ and ‘Easy, Please Me’, as well as other tracks from her debut album ‘On a Mission’, ending with ‘Lights On’, her highest-charting single to date, reaching number four in the UK chart last December.

Support from the evening came from Jamie Woon – who like Katy is a graduate of the prestigious BRIT performing arts school – who showcased tracks from his album ‘Mirrorwriting’.

Katy’s appearance came as part of the iTunes festival which has been taking place at the venue throughout this month.

Tickets are free and distributed via the iTunes Festival website.
