JLS want to perform at the 2012 Olympics.

The ‘Beat Again’ hitmakers say it would be a dream come true to put on a show at the London Games next year because they love sport and are very proud of being British.

JB Gill said: “We love our sport and playing there is the top of the agenda for next year.

“We haven’t been approached yet but I think once the organisers get through this year, they’ll start doing organisation for the actual thing.

“I’m saying like I’m on the committee – I’m not! But we’d love to be involved in it. Obviously that and with the royal wedding just gone, it’s a great sense of Britishness.”

As well as performing at the Olympics, the group – also made up of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams – are also keen to do a duet with Gwyneth Paltrow.

JB added: “She’s just great and she can sing well, which we didn’t realise until quite recently. We’re always doing new things and we’re always trying to better ourselves, so we’d love a collaboration with her.”
