Chloe X Halle shot to stardom after their cover of “Pretty Hurts” went viral 2013, which landed them a million-dollar contract with Bey’s label and a role on her star-studded visual album “Lemonade.” On July 25, they’ll reunite with their mentor, opening the North American leg of Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s On The Run II Tour. Here’s what else the sisters have been up to.

1. They released an album…

After releasing an EP and a mixtape, the girls came out with their debut album, The Kids Are Alright, in March. The album features 18 original songs all written and executive produced by the pair.

2. …And a short film

In true Beyoncé fashion, immediately following the release of their album, the duo released a short film on YouTube with the same name. The film features six songs off of their album.

The singer-songwriters paired up with Willow Smith on the single “Lonely Road” off of Willow’s 2017 album The 1st.

4. They were the faces of a Nike campaign.

The 19 and 18 year-olds joined the Nike Air Society, a women’s network that hopes to empower women through shared experiences like group fitness workshops and marathon training.

5. They performed at Coachella.

Chloe and Halle performed songs off of their new album at this year’s Coachella with the help of a female backing band.

6. They launched their acting careers.

Both girls landed guest roles on black-ish spinoff grown-ish and soon became regular cast members playing Skylar and Jazlyn Forster, twin track athletes with witty humour and lots of sass. The show’s theme song “Grown” also comes from their new album.

7. Halle graduated highschool.

As if they haven’t accomplished enough this year, the duo’s youngest member graduated high school with much support from her older sister.

8. They still make covers.
