Dappy Contostavlos wants to collaborate with Phil Collins.

The N-Dubz singer – who formed the group with Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer – would “love” to record a song with the Genesis singer, whose hits include ‘Against All Odds’, because there will not be “anyone like him again in music”.

The 24-year-old rapper – whose real name is Dino Contostavlos – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I would love to collaborate with Phil Collins. There won’t be anyone like him again in music. He is what 80s music was all about. He’s just amazing.”

But first, Dappy – who is set to release a single called ‘No Regrets’ – is concentrating on launching his solo project, and has vowed to be better than fellow rappers Tinchy Stryder and Chipmunk.

Speaking at the T4 on the Beach festival in Weston-super-Mare, he added to BANG Showbiz: “I’m doing a solo project and I’m going to kill it. Tinchy and Chipmunk and all them are going to be sent to sleep.

“But there’s going to be another N-Dubz album coming out at some point so don’t worry about that. We’re not splitting up.”
