Chipmunk will stand by Chris Brown until the “day he dies”.

The 20-year-old rapper – who collaborated with the US star on single ‘Champion’ and his second studio album ‘Transition – explained working with the ‘Yeah’ hitmaker was the “biggest learning experience” he’s ever gone through.

He told BANG Showbiz: “Working with Chris Brown was definitely the biggest learning experience I’ve had in my musical career so far and I would stand behind Chris as a talented artist until the day I die.

“Personally, too. Yeah, he’s my friend and I will always support him.”

Chipmunk recently praised Chris – who was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 – saying he is the only artist who could do ‘Champion’ justice.

He said: “It’s from the heart, it’s a true story. I felt every single word and Chris meant every single word. I didn’t want it to feel like I was just moaning about life. I wanted to uplift the people so I knew it needed something. It needed belting out.

“That’s when I thought of Chris Brown. Nobody else is going to sing this better than him.”
