Chase and Status hope to have their third album out this year.
The ‘Blind Faith’ group have been touring extensively in recent months, but can’t wait to get back into the studio and finish the follow up to 2010’s ‘No More Idols’.
The duo – Saul Milton and Will Kennard – told Examiner.com: ”We’re working on a third album which we’re hoping to have finished later this year, and we also have a Record label, MTA Records which allows us to nurture and develop new talent.
”We’re constantly inspired by what is going on around us, there is so much exciting new talent out there, and we’re lucky to be able to do what we love for a living.”
The duo – who worked on Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ album – have also said they constantly keep busy, and would rather carry on working than sit and reflect on their past successes.
They added: ”We always make a point of never resting on our laurels, we are proud of what we have achieved so far, but there’s always more to be done and new ideas to try, so we try not to focus too much on our successes.”
