EXCLUSIVE: Here's the trailer for Selena Gomez's Netflix project

It's officially the one month count down to Selena Gomez's big debut as an executive producer...and we've got the first trailer, exclusively for you here!

The show, 13 Reasons Why, is a teen drama that looks at what happens after a young woman commits suicide, and her crush is left with 13 cassette tapes on which she has recorded her "reasons why". It's based on a YA book by Jay Asher, and at one point, Selena was apparently rumoured to be starring in a screen version of it herself.

Fast forward to the now, however, she's part of the behind-the-scenes team on the series, premiering March 31. Gomez has previously spoken about why this project—and its admittedly heavy subject matter—mean so much to her:

"“I was going through a really difficult time when they started production. I went away for 90 days and talked with a lot of kids. It definitely hit home...I want [kids] to understand I definitely relate to everything. I was a mess."

Check out the trailer (featuring series stars Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette) below:
