Kate Middleton may be reigning queen of effortless high street dressing in the UK, but a Swedish princess has just seen her bargain-hunting game, and raised her a “I wore an under $200 dress to my own brother’s royal wedding”.

Princess Victoria of Sweden attended this weekend’s fancy royal ‘do in a frock by the H&M Concious Exclusive Collection. Undertaking royal duties in the homegrown high street brand is kind of Vic’s MO: She’s often worn H&M to royal engagements, which is just good business sense for the woman who will one day count the fast fashion business as one of the bigger tax payers into her royal coffers.

Also, you can probably get away with wearing a bargain dress when your accessory (namely THAT TIARA) are worth approximately a zillion dollars. That ain’t no cubic zirconia, folks.
