Founder and CEO of G(irls)20, which has a commitment to creating 100 million new jobs for women and promotes the economic and educational empowerment of girls and women. She has been named one of the BBC’s “100 Women” and is one of Women of Influence’s “Top 25 Women of Influence in Canada.”
EVE AWARD RECIPIENTS
Was political adviser to former Prime Minister Stephen Harper and known as his “single best political organizer.” She is also former director of political operations and deputy national campaign manager for elections. She was adviser to the chief of staff while working for Harper’s office.
Identified as one of the 100 most influential people in government and politics in Ottawa and an activist in labour, student and women’s movements. She is the first female parliamentary secretary to the first female premier of Alberta, Rachel Notley.
Chief of staff to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau–the first female to hold this position in Canada–she also led Trudeau’s Liberal leadership campaign. She had been deputy chief of staff to Stéphane Dion and worked as a senior consultant at a public government relations firm in Toronto.
