Thanks to George and Amal Clooney, 3,000 kids are going to get an education who probably otherwise wouldn’t have.

The new parents’ foundation (along with some other high profile partners like HP and and Google) are fronting the funds for Syrian refugee kids living in Lebanon to go to school—which they haven’t been able to do since the civil war in their own country forced them to flee.

Overall, the project is costing around $2.5 million which seems like a lot of $

#8230;but then you hear that those 3,000 children are just a fraction of the estimated 200,000 Syrians in Lebanon who don’t have access to education and it maybe makes you want to reach into your (not quite so deep) pockets too.
