Ellie Goulding is Engaged!
Ellie Goulding is engaged—and she didn’t announce it on Instagram.
The 31-year-old Brit shared the news that she and BF Caspar Jopling are getting married in a very traditional manner: an announcement in U.K. newspaper The Times, according to People. Goulding used her full name, Elena, in the paper, so it may have taken some fans a second to realize the exciting news.
“The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Herefordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands,” stated the announcement, which was in this morning’s paper.
The pop star has been dating Jopling, an art dealer, for 18 months. They’ve yet to publicly comment on their engagement outside of the announcement.
