We’ve had a day to process the all-day event that was the 2014 Oscars. Putting the whole pizza fiasco behind us, here are our fave moments from the show.
Best: Ellen broke the Internet After taking an impromptu super all-star selfie (except for Lupita’s brother, who is basically photo-bombing) Ellen announced that "We crashed and broke Twitter. We have made history." The craziest part? Not one of them had their eyes closed or a double chin.
The worst: When John Travolta butchered Idina Menzel’s name For seemingly no reason, uber-jet-black-haired John Travolta introduced singer Idina Menzel as "Adele Dazeem” before her performance of Frozen’s “Let it Go.”
Of course, the Internet responded. My fave? Slate.com’s
name generator. My name comes out as Kaitlyn Herdson—still so much closer than Travolta got to Menzel’s name.
