If anyone experiences even a millisecond of the joy that Princess Charlotte felt yesterday, they should count themselves lucky. You see, the littlest royal found love in a helium-filled place.
When she was first introduced to the soon-to-be-first-love-of-her-life, she was unsure.
And she was honestly more into her super cute sweater.
But then she got to know this balloon animal a bit better, and her heart started to open.
And now she just can't imagine who she was without this balloon in her life.
And like always happens when you love something, it has made room in her heart for even more love, and now, well, Charlotte just wants ALL THE BALLOOOOOOONS.
Lifestyle blogger Meghan Yuri Young teamed up with ELLE Canada and PANDORA Jewellery to offer her take on modern fall accessorizing.
HER TAKE ON THE TREND: “Upgrading everyday basics like blazers or camisoles is my favourite way to interpret fall’s velvet trend. Velvet can be worn day or night; I really think it’s all about the colour you choose. For daytime, I’d wear this plush texture in fresher, neutral tones like blush or beige. For nighttime, velvet looks rich in midnight blue or emerald green. Simple styling of staple accessories also makes it modern – it’s fashion forward without the fuss. I like playing with size and shape layering longer and shorter pendant necklaces and then wrapping wrists with sterling silver, gold and two-tone metals. I love the contrast between a luxe velvet jacket and high-shine bracelets and rings with skinny, sparkly bands that catch the light.”
The oil trend has made it to your nail polish – and for good reason. “Oil makes pigment really pop and increases shine,” says Tom Bachik, global nail designer for L’Oréal Paris. The brand’s new Le Vernis à L’Huile by Color Riche ($10) contains four types of oil – rose, lotus bloom, camellia seed and argan – which means that one coat of polish is all you need for streak-free colour.
For fall, Bachik is vibing on jewel tones (his fave in the new collection is Blue Royale) and nixing OTT nail art. “It’s not dead; we just want to take a very minimalistic approach,” he says. “Add a metallic accent – a gold sparkle, a moon, a little stud – something clean that’s intentional without being in your face.”

Maybe it's day five of the tour and he's just still tired, or maybe Kate said something to set him off, but Prince William suffered from a major case of the giggles in the Yukon today.
The Prince—who's generally all bout that stiff upper lip life—was clearly having a ball watching a children's performance during a traditional First Nations welcome ceremony. Kate's also looking rather cheery, but Will...well, at least he was enjoying himself.
The couple had actually sent out their first joint tweet earlier that day, so maybe it was just his sheer relief at passing a milestone most of us reached in 2009 that was making him giddy?
