Reginald Leung: ELLE Canada editor profile

Name: Reginald Leung
Position: Designer
At ELLE since: March 2014

Who are your favourite fashion designers?
At the moment it’s KENZO and Phillip Lim. My fashion persona changes depending on the occasion, but clean lines are my friend. These two designers have sophistication and just enough humour that I look like a cool boy and not a cray-cray one. Though crazy can be cool too, I just can't pull it off.

What is the most prized item in your closet?
Right now it’s got to be my men’s leggings – meggings, if you will. But I layer them with shorts. It’s the sportswear meets menswear look that gives me just enough edge to make me look like a refined hooligan.

What is one item you wish you had in your closet?
Anything from Givenchy.

What is the one beauty product you currently can’t live without?
I’m easy. I prefer a very minimalistic regime. Face wash, toner and cream, and I’m good to go. But if I had to say, maybe shaving cream and deodorant?

Who are your style and beauty icons?
I don’t really have any. I like being my own person. My style overlaps with others’, I’m sure, but I don’t have icons.

What would be your ultimate fashion dream come true?
To wear pajamas to work.
