Gossip round up: Our verdicts on this week’s top fashion and entertainment news.

Why we love Alber, reason #200491
For the fall Lanvin campaign, designer Alber Elbaz chose to shoot a group of “real women and men, ranging in age from 18-80.” Shot by Steven Meisel, Elbaz told WWD that he “was interested to bring these clothes back to the street somehow, and eyeing how they look on different ages, different sizes…it felt like a crazy family and I like that.” [WWD]
Verdict: We think he read Ben Barry’s ELLE Canada article.

In SarkOlsen news…
Page Six is reporting that Olivier Sarkozy has purchased a townhouse in downtown in Manhattan to be  closer to Mary Kate Olsen. Which means we can all look forward to more pictures like this one. Sarkozy’s ex-wife, Camille, is not impressed. She called the coupling “grotesque” and “not right.” Which is fair. Can you imagine if, after years of watching Full House, Michelle Tanner hooked up with your ex? [Page Six]
Verdict: Judgemental slow clap

Another one bites the dust
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are dunzo after 15 years of marriage, according to sources. Last week, Griffith was spotted without her wedding ring and Banderas was seen flirting with ladies in a club. The couple first met on the set of the 1995 film Two Much and appeared to be one of the rare Hollywood couples with staying power: Anyone else remember this Lainey Gossip bit? I was rooting for them. PS: That hit also proves that the ELLE Canada team solved this Lainey Gossip Blind item last week. [It's Jon Hamm!] [People]
Verdict: Single tear and a moment of silence for the last of the Hollywood super-couples.
