Bloodshot eyes
“Lining the inside of the lower lash line with a light beige pencil will not only make eyes appear whiter, they will look more open and alert. Eye drops that relieve redness can also help.”

Pat’s pick: Shiseido the Makeup Corrector Pencil

Puffy eyes
“The best way to reduce puffiness under the eyes is to apply a cream or mask formulated specifically for the delicate under eye area. In addition to relieving puffiness, they can also diminish the look of wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes.”

Dark circles
Concealer will do the trick, but a light-handed application with the perfect shade for your skin tone are both key in creating a natural looking effect. I use a soft eyeshadow brush with a concealer that matches the skin perfectly. First, I apply a very small amount of concealer onto the tip of brush, and carefully blend over dark areas only, gradually layering until darkness is camouflaged without looking too cakey. If product is emollient-based and needs to be set with powder, choose a very light and translucent texture to avoid a dry, crepey look.”

Dull skin
“A daily skincare ritual using products formulated to address your skin’s specific needs is crucial to maintaining a radiant complexion (in addition to proper diet, ample rest, healthy lifestyle choices etc.) Find a line of quality skincare with natural, holistic ingredients for optimum results. If skin still appears dull, try using a creamy blusher on cheeks over sheer foundation. Adding a soft, subtle flush of colour to your face should quickly brighten your overall look.”
