The best juice bars in Toronto: Greenhouse Juice Co.

5 Macpherson Ave, 367 King St. West, 2553 Yonge St. & 199 Bay St. The lovely folks at Greenhouse Juice Co. have been rocking the Toronto juice stage since early 2014 with their certified organic ingredients and aesthetically beautiful social media platforms. For 72 hours, your Greenhouse Juice is alive. Everything inside the bottle is completely raw, unpasteurized and contains no HPP. “But what does that even mean?!” you’re asking. Well, here’s the quick version: the natural life of all those healthy ingredients inside your juice are not tampered with (nothing has been cooked or subjected to high temperatures). We here in the beauty department loved heart healthy East of Eden, a veggie-heavy juice with the best kick of sweetness thanks to a touch of apple and lemon. And shoutout to Deep Roots, a beet and carrot based juice, which benefits the liver, kidneys and lungs. And for all you fashionistas out there, Greenhouse Juice Co has a pop-up at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale until March 8th. You are invited to drink your live elixirs whilst shopping for a Fendi bag. Sounds like a dream. READ MORE: The best foods to prevent catching the common cold

The best juice bars in Toronto: Fresh

326 Bloor St. West, 894 Queen St. West, 147 Spadine Ave & 90 Eglinton Ave. East A Toronto classic operating since 1999 under one of the coolest women in town, Ruth Tal, Fresh is the OG juice bar in Toronto (they did green juices before green juices were cool). This source for all things vegetarian and vegan is on a mission to prove that healthy foods can also be delicious and crave-able foods. From spinach juices to comfort foods (think burgers, fries and onion rings), Fresh offers a little something for everyone. At their juice bar, we loved the Urban Detox: a kale, spinach, chard and romaine combo featuring apple, lemon, ginger and liquid cayenne. Is it weird that we thought the energizing burn was totally satisfying? Our immune systems definitely got a boost. READ MORE: How one woman discovered "brain orgasms"

The best juice bars in Toronto: Evolution Food Co.

12 Market St. Fresh on the scene, Evolution opened their doors in 2014 with market-inspired dishes and juices that are nourishing and delicious. How instagram worthy do their Breakfast Bowls look, btw? Evolution Food Co has three core values: Keep it simple, make it count, and create good vibes. We dig that. We tried out their Heavenly Glow cold-pressed juice which, if you’re new to the green juice thing, is a good place to start. You get that full apple sweetness and zing of ginger alongside all that kale and cucumber. Y-U-M. READ MORE: Victoria's Secret models workout routines

The best juice bars in Toronto: The Good Press

87 Yorkville Ave. The key ingredient in The Good Press’ juices (besides all that organic, local and quality fruits and veg) is fun. We here at ELLE Canada like fun too, so this was a match made in vegan heaven. Serving up more than just juices, The Good Press is looking out for the good people of Toronto by focusing on what matters the most: healthy eating, quality food and being eco-friendly. Around 3pm on a Thursday (you know, that time in the office where you crash harder than Kanye crashes Grammys stages), we were #blessed by The Good Press with Immunity Now, a hefty juice featuring fresh pressed orange, grapefruit, ginger and turmeric with Echinacea. Lets just say we were back at our computers typing at the speed of light in no time. READ MORE: The best snacks to eat before working out
