7 A.M. I’ve tried to be the person who exercises in the morning, but I’m just not. After-work gym sessions make me hangry, so that leaves me with lunchtime workouts, which affect the type of makeup I wear to the office. I want my foundation to stay put (so I don’t have to reapply), but I don’t want to break out. According to dermatologist Sonya Cook, our pores dilate when we work out, so an oil-free, non-comedogenic tinted moisturizer or BB cream is preferable to a full-coverage formula, which is more likely to clog pores. I apply CliniqueFit Workout Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 40 ($39), which fits the bill.

12:00 P.M. I head to my boxing class in Workout 24-Hour Mascara ($26), which has a more natural look than my usual tube. I also tried it during SoulCycle and emerged looking human—or at least my eyes did—thanks to a water-based polymer and gel combo that sets ASAP, so I’m confident it will survive this class too.

1 P.M. I’ve finished boxing—and my face looks like it. While Cook says face washing is a must, I’m not prone to breakouts and I have a meeting to get to. I swipe on the yellow Post-Workout Neutralizing Face Powder ($39), which colour-corrects the redness in my face. Within a few minutes, I swear I look as if I’ve been sitting sedately at my desk all this time.

7 P.M. There’s no wrong time to use the Lip + Cheek Flush ($29), but I’ve discovered the best time: right before happy-hour drinks with the girls. They’ll inevitably ask “Did you just come from the gym?” and you can just shrug your toned shoulders.
