Nike master trainers respond to your excuses not to work out

We rattled off a list of common reasons why people say they can't work out – too tired, hair too cute to get sweaty – and then asked Nike master trainers to respond.  

Prior to the Nike Women's 15K run in Toronto, we met up with Nike master trainers Ben Monk, Flor Beckmann, Marie Purvis, Traci Copeland and Emily Hutchins to ask them about common workout excuses: Which ones are legit? Which ones are most definitely not? Click through to read their responses.

Excuse: "I’m so lazy!" Response: Exercise will take care of that.

Excuse: "I didn’t get enough sleep last night." Response: There’s a difference between being tired and being lazy. If you're feeling lazy, a good workout will help. If you're tired, go and take a recovery day.

Excuse: "I just did my hair and I don't want to get all sweaty." Response: Get over it! It’s called dry shampoo, and it’s amazing.
