How supermodels and Victoria’s Secret Angels stay fit, beautiful and runway-ready:

GET PUNCH-DRUNK

All of the catwalk cliques—from the Instagirls to the Angels—love going nine rounds. A form of interval training, boxing builds stamina and muscle endurance. No ring nearby? Grab an exercise band. Former boxer Michael Olajide Jr., who works with Adriana Lima at his Aerospace High Performance Centre in NYC, ties them around clients’ ankles while they bob and weave. Even just jabbing will strengthen the lower back and shoulders and help posture, says Justin Gelband of modelFIT, also in NYC, whose clients include Irina Shayk and Miranda Kerr.

JUMP AROUND

Olajide prefers the body-toning cardio of skipping to running; he says it’s easier on the joints and you’ll see results in a third of the time.

CHANGE IT UP

Behati Prinsloo counts squats and sit-ups as top butt kickers, but she’s always up for a change. “I don’t like knowing exactly what I’m going to do because I get lazy,” she says. This mind game benefits the body too: Switching exercises makes you concentrate more and equals faster results, says Gelband.
