Backstage at Mackage, Maybelline’s Lead Makeup Artist for Canada Grace Lee wanted models to "look frosted" to compliment the collection's cool Arctic/iceberg-inspired look. This translated into a graphic eye that you, if anything like me, will want to steal for your next nighttime outing. Using the width of the brush as a guide, Lee applied a thick swipe of black Maybelline Eye Studio Master Graphic Liquid Liner, then layered Maybelline Colour Show Kohl Liner in Turquoise Flash over top. "Each eye will look different," said Lee, "because when you open the eye, the blue kind of disappears, with just a hint of blue visible on the inner corner and the outer corner. When [the model] blinks, you will see a pop of icy blue." Skin was well-moisturized, then highlighted with Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime in Blur and Illuminate on the chin, cupid's bow and bridge of the nose. "We used [primer] to highlight the skin where you would normally put highlighter, for a really beautiful sheen. Adding this gives it that icy feel."
