orange pout at Rag & Bone. The departure from the label’s usually simple take on beauty was dreamed up by Revlon lead makeup artist Gucci Westman. But that bold lip is so spring 2014. For fall 2014 it’s all about a thickly lined, bold eye – still a departure for Rag & Bone, but still equally every girl. “Rag and Bone girls always have to be that girl that you want to be, not too conceptual,” says Westman. “Real girls don’t have time for 700 steps [when it comes to makeup].” Here are five key things about the look: 1. Westman used three eyeliners, from a cream to two liquids on the lid to not only give the winged look staying power, but also to give the look some depth. “I’m using three different textures, so I’m using a pen, then a cream to set the shape, then the new skinny liquid liner to make the shape precise.” TRY: Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Black ($7.99), Revlon ColorStay Crème Gel Liner in black ($9.99) and Revlon ColorStay SKINNY Liquid Liner in Black Out ($7.99 in store in June). Lips should almost disappear into the skin thanks to a de-pigmenting trick from Westman. “I used white liner to take the red out, but it’s super subtle.” READ MORE: Spring 2014: All the shows, galleries, designers and more How to wear nude lipstick The best eyeliners.
