Montreal Fashion Week S/S12 Backstage Beauty Report: Travis Taddeo

The look at Travis Taddeo? Like one's just woken up after a fun night out. If only we could look so gorgeous in real life after a night of partying... Makeup was both feminine but also a tad sloppy, says Amelie Ducharme, Creative Director for makeup for Montreal Fashion Week--creating that overnight look.  Smoky eyes were smudged low (rather than as a cat's eye shape) using Cover Girl Smokey Shadow Blast in brown. As a cream, with the heat of the eyelid, the product can move and add to the just-woken up look. To intensify the bottom lashes and outside corners, black eyeshadow (Cover Girl palette 440) was applied and blended. Thick, heavy lashes using Cover Girl Lash Blast along with Cover Girl pressed powder 255 to add definition to the cheeks finish off the look.

Hair is similarly casually rumpled. With a centre part, hair was pulled into a low ponytail and then pinned into place. The elastic was then snipped off, leaving only the hidden bobby pins holding the ponytail in place Hair is was then loosely braided, pulling and puffing out the braid's sides, with the end of the braid tucked underneath, giving the style a soft, romantic feel. We're loving this hair look. What about you?
