Devin Brugman used to need to wear three sports bras to get through a workout. (She’s a 32DDD.) “The only options were these maternity-style harness bras or slim, sexy types,” says Brugman, the co-founder of the A Bikini a Day Instagram and website. (Yes, she and bestie Natasha Oakley pose in swimwear every day; no, they are not insane.) So she designed her own bra, the “Devin,” for her Monday Active sportswear line. Here are her non-negotiables:
We need this so our breasts stay in place and because it prevents the stretching of the Cooper’s ligaments – the connective tissue in the breasts. (Stretching = sagging.) “Eighty percent of the strength and support of the bra is in the band,” says Jenine LaFayette of Brooks Running Canada. “It’s like the foundation of a house.” (The band should be tighter than your typical bra, so you may need to go down a size.)
If the cup is wrinkling, it’s too small and can chafe. Make sure it sits smoothly over the breasts.
Run in place, squat or do your best Britney Spears impression while trying on the bra in the change room. If it’s even the slightest bit pinchy, walk away.
(Don’t) free the nipple
Sleeping in a sports bra won’t make your girls perkier (sorry), but it can reduce pre-period tenderness. “It feels better because your breasts aren’t moving around at night,” says Dr. Ruth Heisey of Women’s College Hospital in Toronto.

Her skincare specialist explains.
When you get a bespoke facial from Jennifer Brodeur at Bella Clinique in Montreal, you’ll also meet “Max,” the LED-light-therapy machine that Brodeur designed in 2003 and always refers to as a person. (It’s actually called “Max+.”)
The machine, she explains, harnesses research from NASA and uses light wavelengths to treat skin concerns. Skin cells absorb the UV-free light as energy. Red-light wavelengths, for example, are said to stimulate fibroblasts to create collagen, while yellow light tightens skin.
“It’s interesting because you don’t feel anything, so a lot of clients at first were like, ‘Are you sure you’re doing something?’” she says, laughing. Any disbelievers can call Oprah; Brodeur has been treating her since 2012.
It looks like a pint of Guinness, tastes like a cold brew, and is only available in one Canadian Starbucks location—but it's not on the secret menu. So what is this mystery drink launching RN in Canada?
It's nitro coffee, which in terms of coffee trends is 2016's answer to 2015's obsession with pour over (and apparently an extension of our obsession with cold coffee in general, which Starbucks says is actually a growing part of our morning coffee order, even in the winter).
So what is it, and how is not just cold brew? Well, it is cold brew in the sense that it's based on the same intial process (steeping coffee for 20 hours in cold water) but then things get science-y when they infuse it with nitrogen. This is key because it's crisp and cold without any ice added, excellent news for anyone who's ever hated how watered down the end of your iced coffee sometimes tastes.
Nitro cold brew is currently only available at one location in Canada (Brookfield Place in Toronto) but word on the street is that they'll be rolling it out at more locations A-to-the-SAP.
Good news for anyone who has ever wanted to dress like the posh-est fashion designer out there, but has an, ahem, not-so-posh budget: Victoria Beckham is collaborating with Target.
Over 200 items will be available in stores across the U.S. when the collection, which includes womenswear and children’s wear, launches on April 9. If you’re game to take a trip to the States (RIP Target Canada), you can cop items for as low as $8, and no more than $92.
