By Jennifer Weatherhead I'm a recent Dermalogica convert. And now I feel like their best sales person. It took years of fellow beauty lovers and editors telling me just how amazing Dermalogica was before I actually dove in and tried it. As a fair-skinned blonde, my skin is uber sensitive -- to the point where my face breaks out in hives and rashes if I come in contact with anything too harsh or too abrasive (one time I woke up to my eyes swollen shut from an allergic reaction to eye cream -- eeeks!). Needless to say, I was pretty stubborn when it came to trying new skincare products -- I found ones that didn't irritate my skin and stuck to them. Finally, I had a facial at the Hammam Spa in Toronto, where they used the most wonderful exfoliator on my face that I had ever felt, and surprise, suprise ... it was Dermalogica. I was sold. I left the spa with an armload of skincare goodies. Pint-sized versions that allow you to cleanse, condition and hydrate your skin. And at $50 it is a great gift for a lover of Dermalogica, or someone who is looking to test it out. Trust me, they will love it! Dermalogica Normal-Oily Skin Kit, $50, dermalogica.com.
