Trend of the month Pretty penny Forget the Midas touch. Instead of gold, take your look into fall with shades of copper. Seen at Viktor & Rolf and Nina Ricci, this tawny hue is a warmer, subtler alternative to flashy metallics-and the perfect way to show off what’s left of your summer tan. |

Garden State • What is it? Nina by Nina Ricci, the latest fragrance from the renowned fashion house. • Sweet temptation Although best known for L’Air du Temps — the classic scent first launched in 1948 — the House of Nina Ricci has introduced nearly 15 fragrances since its inception 75 years ago. Its newest offering, geared toward the under-35 set, takes its inspiration from Eve’s temptation in the Garden of Eden. The red glass bottle — aptly shaped like an apple — is a modern interpretation of Fille d’Eve, a 1952 Nina Ricci scent. The fruit theme continues with notes of toffee-apple and appletree wood, along with praline, vanilla and white musk. Nina by Nina Ricci Eau de Toilette ($62 for 50 mL) |
