On the first day of NYFW the beauty world gave to me: the punk-rock party-princess look of my dreams.

"The look was inspired by singer, Siouxsie Sioux. She always had a very strong eye look," says makeup artist Aaron de Mey of the look he created for Creatures of the Wind’s S/S’16 show. "It had the same spirit, but was applied differently each time" – a.k.a., you can’t mess this up.

To get the cat-eye, de Mey used NARS Black Valley Eye Paint ($31) and NARS Via Veneto Larger Than Life Eyeliner ($31) to rim the entire lash line, including the waterline of the lower lashes, then extended the flick to reach the outer edge of the eyebrow. (Think Amy Winehouse, not Parisian girl in café.) Getting the glittery-look at home is also easily achievable; try the NARS Eye Paint in Iskandar ($31) – a solid formula in a pot – to, yes, paint on the product, so there’s no worrying about rogue chunks of glitter showing up days – ok, months – after the party ends.
