In 2007, CARGO Cosmetics launched PlantLove—the first lipstick packaged in a tube made entirely from corn—to smashing success. Now, the Toronto company has a full range of PlantLove cosmetics—with diesel-free manufacturing and eco-friendly packaging—that has been certified by organic authority Ecocert. At its unveiling at Sephora’s Fifth Avenue boutique, CARGO founder Hana Zalzal said the line is top-tier green. “I’m hoping that women will realize that green can be gorgeous.”

Put away the bronzing powder. This fall, a healthy glow comes courtesy of a wash of pink on the cheeks, as seen on models at Missoni. “It should look like you’ve just come in from a long walk outside,” says Gérald Bélanger, national makeup artist for Chanel. For a natural flush, sweep a transparent, rosy blush on the apples of the cheeks. Pair it with rosy-pink lipstick and a coat of black mascara.
