"I don't have a type!" How many times have we all proclaimed that phrase with pride, while surreptitiously looking around the room for that doctor or that rocker or that rodeo clown. (OK, maybe that last one's just me.) Despite our open minds and our therapists' comfortable couches, certain buttons just keep getting pushed. We may never be able to pinpoint the pivotal moment in junior high or the favorite family friend or the past life experience that continually drives us to the intersection of Bartender Boulevard and Latin Lover Lane, so we might as well just give up and give in. We all have a type.
Now if there were only a foolproof means by which to determine exactly which type was right for us ... oh, but there is! A quiz.
For each question, circle the response that really pushes your buttons.

2. You ask him if he's read any good books lately. His response: a The Fountainhead – for the fifth time b Into Thin Air, Into The Wild and Touching The Void c Tuesdays With Morrie d The Artist's Way e "Can't read on a motorcycle, baby"
3. It makes you laugh when he: a Does his impersonation of his family having dinner b Tells stories about the crazy stuff that happens in the operating room c Wears a tie d Does his impersonation of his ex girlfriend screaming at him e Tries to stay mad at me
4. Your first date: a Dinner at a restaurant that's so new and so hard to get into b Seeing his jazz combo play at a dive bar downtown c A biking tour of the city d Gets rescheduled ... something about a bar fight and the Emergency Room? e A picnic in his living room by candlelight
