Think that sizzling romantic dates are saved for just the summer months? Think not! Autumn is the season of romance and we tell you how to keep the sparks through the changing leaves with these ultra-romantic date ideas.
1. A hayride Take a trip back to the olden days and experience the romance of a hayride. Think about this -- snuggling up with your beau, the sweet scent of hay and the fresh outdoors as a horse pulls you through the woods. It seems likes the perfect setting for a movie. Try to make the hayride a ride for two (you certainly don't want to share your cosy blanket with a third party!) and sneak on some delish hot chocolate to make it extra special.
2. A trip to the beach With the hot summer weather gone, so are the throngs of people swarming the beaches. Take advantage of this and go with your hunny to enjoy a peaceful day listening to the waves. Dress in warm sweaters and take a large blanket to lay on, snuggle one, kiss on, cuddle, on, etc. Plus you can canoodle all you want without a bikini and swim trunk-clad audience.
3. A haunted trip Halloween is not just for kids and it's not just about ghoulish, scary creatures. In fact a haunted house can be a prime spot for romance. What could be more romantic than walking through a dark house and clinging to your date for comfort as you wander through the spooky halls? Even if it's cheesy, give a little cry of alarm when the wicked witch pops out and you will surly get some comfort. It's a great excuse to snuggle in really close.
4. A stroll through the park Take in the fall foliage under an autumn sky with your sweetie for the perfect fall date. Head out just before dusk, so you can see all the colours and play in the leaves like you're kids again. Then keeping hanging out in the park (on a bench or keep walking) as the day turns into night and you catch the brilliant red sunset as it turns a bit chilly (the perfect time for him to give you a warming hug).
5. Apple picking By taking a drive to the nearest apple orchard and spending a day you will be able to take in the bounty of the fall season, while spending time with your date. Once you have picked out some delicious red apples, take them home and continue your date by baking up delectable apple desserts together (nothing is sexier than a guy in the kitchen!). Then snuggle up on the couch and enjoy!
