Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
You're entering one of the most auspicious years you've had in a long time. Why? You're an Earth sign, and this year both Jupiter and Saturn are in Earth signs, which bodes well for you. (This is good news!) You now have a strong sense of who you are -- and who you aren't -- but that deeper question “What do I want to be when I grow up?” still lingers. You will seriously address this in 2008: many of you will go back to school, further your training or education or travel to broaden your experience; some of you will have increased responsibilities with children. Whatever happens, the gods are with you because both Jupiter and Saturn are “helping” you -- that's why you feel increased energy, especially intellectually. You're more confident in all your dealings with others -- and, believe me, it shows!
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
For the first time since 1978–1980, Saturn is forcing you to focus on where you live. (We're not talking new duvet covers or bathroom towels; this is the real deal.) You need to secure your external home (vis-à-vis where you live), as well as your inner home (your relationship with yourself and your family). It's a good year to pursue any kind of therapy or self-help to achieve this. It's also why you want to buy a home or renovate where you live -- you'll work hard at earning money (and spending it!) to do this. Fortunately, moneybags Jupiter will bring on inheritances, loans, mortgages, gifts and goodies. You will also benefit from the wealth of your partner. And your sex drive will be super-amped this year!
Leo(July 23 – Aug. 22)
Externally, you appear more focused on money and possessions, and this is true: you're giving much thought to how you earn -- and spend -- money. But underlying this is the search for a meaningful value system -- in other words, what really matters in life. (You never see a hearse pulling a U-Haul.) This year heralds wonderful possibilities for your health and job. In fact, you can improve your job so much this year that it will make your head spin. Your evil boss will get fired -- or hired elsewhere. And if your job doesn't improve, you'll get a wonderful new job -- you can count on it!
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Mars is the planet of sexual energy and aggression. Every two years, it stays in each sign for about seven weeks. But thanks to a celestial quirk, it will stay in your sign for seven months (instead of weeks) at the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008. (You're PowerPoint on steroids!) You'll swagger with ease and have tons of drive, energy and enthusiasm. But you might overwhelm others, so be aware of this until it moves on in mid-May. This increased energy will help you juggle residential or job changes that are likely to happen sometime over the next two years; it will also help you deal with partners and close friends. Partnerships will be a big deal in 2008, and the benefits will apply to personal and professional relationships. Many singles will hook up, and some of you will get involved with someone older or more established. (Great -- that means they can pick up the tab for dinner!)
