All Signs: This week, there's a Full Moon in Leo (Tuesday) while six planets make strong contacts with each other. This means we'll feel powerful, intense emotions this week, along with inspired aspirations to help those who are less fortunate. Mostly, it's a feel good week. Passions are running high. Sex will be hot and memorable, which is better than tepid and forgettable. (As I've said before, sex is like documentation - when it's good, it's wonderful; and when it's not - it's better than nothing.) But according to Mae West, "Good sex is like bridge. If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
For the next few weeks, friendships will play a more important role in your life. You'll start to see who your friends are and who aren't. Discussions with others will be about lofty ideas. Perhaps you'll want to join a club or an organization in order to promote a favourite cause or help out in some way. There's no question that your idealism is aroused now. Socialize extensively in the month ahead. Enjoy the company of others. Work with others. And just be yourself without fear or apology. It's Popeye time: "I yam what I yam!"
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is at high noon in your chart acting like a spotlight on you. This is why bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs notice you more than usual. Naturally, they're going to approach you to take on extra responsibilities or do a special job. Don't worry. You'll handle it easily! When the Sun is high in your chart -- people are impressed with you even if you don't do anything special. Just remember you're high viz. most of the time. Act like whatever you do will end up in the newspapers. This is a good time to think about your life direction in general. Are you headed where you want to go?
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
During the next six weeks, it's important to do something different. Get passionate about something. Travel somewhere if you can. The bottom line is this: you want adventure! You want new experiences. You want to meet new people. You want to learn more about other countries and different cultures. In fact, you want to learn more about anything! Therefore, if you can't travel, try to learn something new. Go someplace you've never been to before. Be a tourist in your city. Sign up for a course. Go back to school. Take up a new language. It's important to jiggle yourself out of your velvet rut. Sing that old song, "Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think. Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink!"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You're inspired to become a better person. What noble intentions! Do anything to improve your body, your health, your mind, your education, and your sense of well-being. Of course, the easiest way is to remember to practice kindness. When we remember to be kind, it relaxes the mind and eases the pain of self and others. However, right now you feel very intense about things. In particular, you're passionate about sex. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to explore these feelings. You might meet someone who makes you do some serious soul-searching. In your everyday world, you might be more concerned about insurance matters, inheritances, and jointly held things or shared property. Boring, but can you ignore this? ("I have not yet begun to procrastinate.")
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is the only time all year when the Sun is directly opposite your sign. This draws your focus to partnerships and close friendships. You're going to do a lot of analyzing and questioning about your relationship with loved ones. What kind of friend are you to your best friends? What kind of partner are you? Are you happy with the people in your life? Are you happy with the arrangements? To be happy in a relationship, you must be as good for your partner as he or she is for you. You're very giving because Leo is a generous sign. You need respect -- and of course, adoration! The month ahead is a perfect time to scrutinize how you relate to others.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You're gung ho to get organized! It‚s January, and the Chinese and Tibetan New Years are yet to come.) Perhaps that‚s why you want efficiency and effectiveness in everything you do at work and at home. Get rid of clutter. You want everything in its place. You want to know there's a sense of order around you which promotes a well oiled system to work smoothly. Your ambitions will extend to your health. You'll start cutting back on junk food, and perhaps drinking less booze. You're watching what you eat. (Is a balanced diet really a cookie in each hand?) Virgo rules the intestines, and so you're very aware of nutrition.
