Zombie love Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes TomKat's wedding in Bracciano, Italy, was set on Cruise control: the groom managed every detail. Giorgio Armani dressed the wedding party (bride and baby wore matching frocks) and provided swag bags for guests. Cruise serenaded Holmes with the oddly chosen "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," and the head of the Church of Scientology went along on their Maldives honeymoon.
Big love Elizabeth Hurley & Arun Nayar After a lavish wedding in England, the entire party -- with Hello! photographers in tow -- jetted to India for a week of cricket, dancing and wardrobe changes. Wearing a jewel-encrusted pink sari by Versace, the princess bride was carried on a velvet gondola throne. But the fairy tale was short-lived: after the couple's now-controversial Hindu ceremony, Hurley's father-in-law disowned them.
Tough love Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban When these Nashville-based lovebirds wed down under, a ray of light shone on them. A celestial sign? No, just a spotlight trained on the bride by Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann. It was all too much for Urban, though. He checked into rehab four months later, giving new meaning to the term "post-wedding blues."
Tainted love Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott This barefoot, bare-bones private beach ceremony in Fiji was far more low-key than the bride's first million-dollar wedding. The couple was eager to avoid the spotlight after the groom's Canadian ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, publicized his deadbeat ways, so it was just the two of them -- plus a photographer snapping shots to sell to People. The cash came in handy during the now-resolved mother-daughter tiff that threatened Spelling's inheritance.
