Furry fashion

Fashion goes to the dogs -- literally -- at a recent Toronto charity event.

Sit front row at all the major Spring fashion shows with our NEW live runway videos. Check them out here!

On Wednesday, February 28th, 2007, fashionistas -- and their furry friends -- took a walk on the runway in a charity event like no other.

The evening, designed to support the Canine Cancer Research at the University of Guelph featured a gala fashion show with design contributions -- for pet and owner -- from some of the world's most notable fashion talent. Thien Le, Rococo, Jason Meyers, Daniel Espinosa, Vivian George, Neo-Paws, Neo-Gear and Versace -- whose canine collection premiered for the first time in Toronto -- were but a few of the participating designers who featured their creations on the catwalk.

Comic and radio personality Maggie Cassella and e-Talk's Tanya Kim were on hand as the evening's hosts while Toronto-based DJ and overall man-about-town, George Chaker spun tunes to keep guests entertained.
