The two things women love most -- fashion and chocolate -- come together for a fashionable night.

Sex or chocolate? ELLE Canada asks the burning question!
Chocolate and fashion -- who couldn't resist a luscious mound of chocolate designed into a fashionable piece of clothing? Cadbury thinks that not too many women would be able to resist. For the third year Cadbury hosted the Cadbury Chocolate Couture Collection at the Carlu in Toronto -- and not only was it a tasty affair, but also a huge success.
This year Cadbury challenged ten of Canada's top designers to explore the world of opposites in chocolate couture -- asking them to create original couture pieces made out of 70% Cadbury chocolate that the models could strut down a runway for a fashion show. Not an easy task, but one that Pat McDonagh, Franco Mirabelli, Sunny Choi, Izzy Camilleri, Farley Chatto, Damzels in this Dress, Fong of Montreal, Haithem Elkaadiki, Sarah Nicol and Pheobe Gao all took on.
"This year, Cadbury challenged us to experiment even further with chocolate and really push the boundaries to find new, innovative ways to create unique couture pieces," Farley Chatto. "We've worked together for months to marry our creativity and talent to the medium of chocolate to ensure that chocolate was the most critical element for each design. We were determined to make this collection the most fantastic yet!"
And it was. The crowd was in awe over the creations -- all that looked good enough to eat and fashionable enough to wear. From the frilly-cropped swing coat by Pheobe Gao, to the 18th century-inspired gown by Pat McDonagh, to the hip club-look for men by Farley Chatto (complete with a man-kilt and a chocolate Mohawk), to a demure travel dress with a chocolate purse by Damzels in this Dress, the show was a feast for the eyes and the fashion-minded. It was truly a night of the very best in chocolate design!
