Crystal clear fashion

Fashion meets function at the new Gallery of Textiles and Costume at the Royal Ontario Museum's Michael Lee-Chin Crystal.

By Lara Ceroni

In commemoration of the Royal Ontario Museum's highly anticipated new addition, Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, designers, journalists, philanthropists and other notable media were invited to a chic champagne luncheon hosted in the Patricia Harris Gallery of Textiles and Costume on June 11, 2007. Staged as a fashion shoot, some of Canada's biggest names in the industry -- Comrags, David Dixon and Jeremy Laing, but to name a few -- were on hand to showcase a piece from their current collection that symbolized the look and multi-faceted beauty of crystal.
