Top 3 steps to runway-ready hair

Flaunt your femininity with a mass of loose waves.

By Stefanie Polsinelli

“This carefree hairstyle is done but undone,” says Sally Hershberger, international creative consultant for John Frieda. “It has a Kate Moss, edgy, boho-chic feel.”

Step 1
Wash hair with frizz-fighting shampoo and conditioner. Apply a curl-enhancing product to wet hair and create a centre part.

Step 2
Randomly divide hair into sections, loosely twisting and looping each before pinning it to the scalp.

Step 3
Dry hair with a diffuser, leaving it slightly damp for more relaxed waves. Remove pins and comb through curls with your fingers, or use a brush for a more groomed look.

“A flat centre part makes this ‘70s-flower-child style modern,” says Hershberger. Run a shine serum through locks to add gloss and fight frizz.

Strike a pose!
