For every beauty-conscious traveller, it's a well-known fact that drinking plenty of Perrier and taking your trusty La Mer moisturizer on the airplane is key to looking fresh and beautiful, even after a 10-hour flight. But what else is there to consider? Say you find yourself sitting next to a David Beckam lookalike. Are you paparazzi-perfect? Nathalie Tenne, founder of www.carefair.com, an online beauty news and networking site, shares her top tips for stocking your carry-on bag. Learn how to look as good on arrival as you did during take-off!
1. Moisturize before flying to keep your skin glowing.
Try: Kiehl's Creme de la Corps (www.kiehls.com) or Burt's Bees Thoroughly Therapeutic Honey & Orange Wax Body Lotion (www.shoppersdrugmart.ca). Pack Johnson & Johnson's Soothe and Protect Balm, which is a moisturizer similar to a chapstick (also available at Shoppers Drug Mart). Sephora's Chocolage Body Glosser (www.sephora.com) is also a fave!
2. Look for powder alternatives to your shampoo-conditioner as well as your perfume. They are much easier to carry and you can avoid any nasty spills in your Prada carry-all!
Try: Bumble & Bumble Hair Powder (www.bumbleandbumble.com) or Jessica Simpson's Powdered Sugar Deliciously Kissable Body Shimmer (www.desserttreats.com). Also, take baby powder so you can stay feeling fresh.
