Trend of the month
Hearkening back to the '80s, the latest makeup trend goes over the rainbow. At the Ungaro and Kenzo runway shows, multi-hued eyeshadows ruled. To put a fresh spin on this retro look, keep bright colours close to the lash line.

Sure to impress Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku Girls, Smashbox Cosmetics has gone mad for anime. Illustrative artist Simone Legno, famous for his Tokidoki characters, dreamed up the packaging for -- and inspired the colours of -- the makeup company's spring line.
